During the month of November 2013, I was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia with the thought that I was going to need a bone marrow transplant. The tests came back negative, and I was able to enlist in the normal chemotherapy/radiation route. Being able to beat such a terrible disease and seeing foundations like Gift of Life give patients like me a second chance at surviving - is truly what life is about. The fight to survive is what gives me the fight to get the word out and there, and continute my fight through registering people via swab drives.
