Gift of Life was proud to receive the Originality Prize from the World Marrow Donor Association for raising awareness in a unique way on World Marrow Donor Day. Gift of Life created the Guinness Book of World Records "World's Largest Cotton Swab" to mark this international day of recognition and thanks for millions of bone marrow and stem cell donors around the world.

Guinness World Records
The largest cotton bud (Q-tip) is 5.696 m (18 ft 8.3 in) long, and was achieved by Gift of Life Marrow Registry in New York City, on 17 September 2016 to promote awareness on World Marrow Donor Day.
2015 World Marrow Donor Day Grand Prize

Gift of Life was the proud recipient of the inaugural WMDD Grand Prize in 2015, awarded in recognition of its creative implementation of a marketing, outreach and recruitment campaign designed to raise awareness among the general public and decision-makers about being a stem cell donor and the impact of blood stem cell transplantation on the lives of patients battling blood cancer.
